- The Loggia Room, has a stunning old wall in stone, where you can relax on comfy sofas with views over the large garden.
- The Camino Room is on the first floor and, in the colder months, you can relax in front of a warm fire and enjoy conversation or games around a table with friends.
- The Fienile Room where we serve our tasty, wholesome breakfasts every day, indoors or under a gazebo with views over the garden, is the best way to get your day off to an excellent start. This room is where we hold our themed evenings for tasting and enjoying the flavours of Tuscany and typical Tuscan wines. It is also suitable for (work) meetings and is an ideal place in which to think, talk, and create.
Casale la Gora is connected
Away from your worries, but perfectly connected: High-speed broadband, provided by Starlink is available in the building, throughout the garden, and beside the pool.
Areas devised for WFH: so if you do need to spend a little time working, you can do so with peace of mind, while your friends and family are relaxing.
The Loggia and Fienile rooms have tables set up for working from home, and there is also a writing corner in every bedroom.
Casale la Gora is a sustainable, green B&B
The large photovoltaic park produces up to 33 kW of electricity, and accumulates this up to 66 kW, to ensure that the Casale is self-sufficient for the majority of the year.
Together with us, you are also playing your part in helping the environment. If you have an electric vehicle, we have three charging stations.
The pool water is disinfected using a salt electrolysis system. The main benefit of this is that the treatment is natural and unlike chlorine, it does not dry the skin or irritate the eyes.
Not only will you enjoy comfortable sleep on our beds with Puracell, water-based foam mattresses and toppers, you will also have towels and bed linens with GOTS certification, made with cotton grown without pesticides or chemicals. Our rooms also use dispensers for detergents so as to limit waste.
Our kitchen is stocked with Tuscan and zero-kilometre produce.
You can help us by recycling your waste, as we are always careful to do.
What to see in Tuscany: Art and Culture
Tuscany is the heart of the Renaissance, and Casale la Gora, with its strategic position, just 3 km from Figline railway station on the Florence-Arezzo-Rome line, and just 5 km from the Incisa toll gate on the Florence-Rome motorway, is at the centre of this area.
Florence and Arezzo are just half an hour away on regular train services. Siena, Lucca and Pisa are just an hour away by car.
Even the most famous villages in Tuscany are just an hour’s car ride away: San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and Cortona.
