Pumpkin and ginger jam
I went to the christening party of a beautiful child, Carlo. Joy and emotion for the important occasion then continued with nice refreshments. Whit the cheeses there was a jam that I had never tasted. I found the recipe and tried it: a delicacy!
pumpkin 1 kilo
sugar 150 grams (I always use the whole wheat)🍚
fresh grated ginger 30 grams
juice of one lemon
Peel and cut the pumpkin into small pieces, sprinkle with lemon juice and add the sugar. Rest all you want. Put the ginger and stir. I bake it in the oven, until it reaches the consistency I like (at least 1 hour), at 170 degrees. It’s really convenient, because I don’t have to flip jam all the time.
Then I pass in the blender, invaded, close well and wait 15 days. 😋
